Strawberry cheddar Ice Cream Recipe Recipe Ingredients: For the Strawberry Cheddar Icecream: 1/2 cup (250 mL) sugar 1/4 cup (75 mL) cornstarch 1/3 cup (125 mL) butter 1/8 cup (60 mL) heavy cream For the Cranberry Cheddar icecream: 3/4 cups (1 cup, 350 mL) cranberries 1/16 cup (25 mL) fresh cranberries (I used about 30-40 strawberries) (I also used frozen strawberries in the mix) Directions: Combine the sugar, cornstart, butter, cream and vanilla in a medium bowl.

Pour the mixture into a plastic bag and set aside.

Whisk together the sugar and cornstamp.

Whipped cream will add a nice smooth texture.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until the butter melts.

Stir in the cranberries.

Reduce heat to medium-low, and whisk in the heavy cream.

Whizz until the mixture is very smooth.

Pour into a chilled chilled container and let sit for at least 4 hours.
