If you want to get really creative with the cranberries, try mixing them with fresh blueberries or dried cranberries to create a dessert that’s just as fresh and flavorful.
Cranberry Cranberry SauceCranberry sauce is an essential ingredient in many baked goods.
It is typically served over a base of sugar, a little cinnamon, and a dash of salt.
For this recipe, I’m using a little bit of cranberry butter for the base.
It’s a great addition to baked goods that have a sweet-and-savory flavor, like apple crispbreads, cranberry tartlets, and cranberry pancakes.
For an apple crisp or a cranberry pie, try adding cranberry juice, lemon juice, or even cranberry syrup.
This cranberry recipe is great to have in the freezer.
Dried Cranberries NutritionDried cranberry skins are another popular option for cranberry desserts.
You can use them to create cranberry shortbreads or cranberry ice cream.
They are delicious on their own or they can be mixed with fresh cranberries for a cranberries ice cream that’s even more flavorful.
To make your own dried cranberry sauces, combine 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a small saucepan.
Add 1/2 cup of fresh cranberry or orange peel.
Let it simmer for 15 minutes, or until the cranberry has completely dried.
Add the remaining 1/4 cup of cranberries.
Whisk the cranbery and coconut together until the mixture thickens.
The sauce should taste slightly salty, but not to much.
If you’re not using fresh cranberries, you can use dried ones or even canned ones.
For a good homemade cranberry salsa, combine the chopped cranberries with some lime juice, honey, and sea salt.
If canned, season with more sea salt to taste.
If not, you could try adding more sea water to make the sauce thicker.
To serve, dip the cranberry-salsa in the sauce and top with a spoonful of fresh blueberry or dried blueberries.
